Millennials don't wait in line, they're online for Black Friday, Cyber Monday

Millennials are choosing to do their holiday shopping online rather than in stores. They are also using new technology besides computers to find the deals and make their purchases.

I give this a thumbs up. First of all it is something that I am interested and I like the way they use actual millennials in examples of how and why they choose to shop online. It gives both perspectives of those who choose to shop online and those who don’t in addition to store personnel.

One thing that does bother me (and this is something that happens often when interviewing millennials) is why these people? Are they just friends of the writer? They do not really have a title and are pretty much completely random. You eventually get the quote from the sales managers at stores so it’s a good balance, but who in the world is Doug Stepnicka and Shelly Blair?
